Kirk Scott joined Black Creek Group to help launch Dividend Capital Trust, Black Creek Group’s first non-traded REIT

2003

Troy Bloom joined Black Creek Group to help design and launch the original 1031 UPREIT program

2007

As Managing Director, Troy Bloom spearheaded product development for a wide range of non-traded REITs and other commercial real estate investment products

2009

Kirk Scott became CFO of Dividend Capital Total Realty Trust (TRT), a non-traded REIT

2012

Osage principals led the restructuring of TRT to become Diversified Property Fund, one of the first perpetual-life net asset value (NAV) REITs available to retail investors, including establishing the daily valuation and reporting process

2016

Osage principals led the re-launch of Black Creek Group’s innovative 1031 UPREIT program and oversaw all necessary modifications to the program to conform to the NAV REIT structure

2018

Founders established Osage to focus on private equity and advisory service

2021

Osage re-enters the securitized 1031 market offering advisory and outsourced back office support for clients sponsored programs

Our Principals

Osage Capital Group was co-founded by firm principals Troy Bloom and Kirk Scott in 2018 to apply their decades of experience in the commercial real estate industry to help fund sponsors expand their real estate investment offerings.

Osage offers end-to-end real estate fund consulting, 1031 program design and administration, and oversees various Osage-sponsored multifamily and community-centric development projects.
